The DELTA 6 from PVA Global is a Conformal Coating Machine with a maximum working area of 521 x 485 x 100 mm. It uses 1 valve for efficient selective coating and has a nozzle dispensing speed of 670 mm/sec, while the air pressure used by the nozzle is 80 psi. This coating dispenser allows the whole coating process to go from L to R (standard) or R to L (optional) depending on the direction of the conveyor, which has an average speed of 24.4 m/min. The height of the conveyor from 940 to 965 mm and the width is from 50 to 500 mm, which is supported by an edge clearance of 4.7 mm for easy mobility of the dispensing machine. It is ideal for selective coating, potting, bead, and meter-mix dispensing applications.
The Delta 6 features a robust overhead three-axis motion platform suitable for inline or batch operations. While maintaining the preferred features of previous work cells, this machine has been designed with a slimmer footprint, improved structural and gantry rigidity for robustness, and easier access. This equipment implements a unique, patented technology where its servo-controller operates the four-axis motion of the distributor featuring valve tilt and rotate. Throughout the gantry system there is a closed loop process control, which is supported by multiple dispensing applications or materials in one single cell. It is operated by onboard PC for unlimited program storage and has an exclusive Path Master programming environment designed to facilitate the programming and control of automated equipment.
The Delta 6 is available in an enclosure that measures 847 x 1136 x 1606 mm and requires an AC supply from 120 to 220 V.
