The ASTRA MT77 from Isola Group is a PCB Laminate with a dielectric constant (Dk) 3 that is stable between -40°C and +140°C. This laminate has a Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) of 200°C, a Decomposition Temperature (Td) of 360°C and a frequency range of 2 to 10 GHz. It also offers an ultra-low dissipation factor (Df) of 0.0017, making it a cost-effective alternative to PTFE and other commercial microwave laminate materials. The laminate is compatible with RoHS, FR-4 process and HDI technology.
Astra MT77 is suitable for many of today’s commercial RF/microwave printed circuit designs including long antennas and radar applications for automobiles, such as adaptive cruise control, pre-crash, blind spot detection, lane departure warning and stop-and-go systems.
