The Summit 2200i from VJ Electronix is an Automatic Rework System that is designed for small to large SMDs and PCB assemblies. This state-of-the-art machine is suitable for high volume/high mix electronics manufacturing applications that require minimal operator intervention. Equipped with a powerful 4.0kW/7.8kW convection bottom heater, a 2.2kW focused convection top heater, and a 01005-120 mm component range, the Summit 2200i provides uniform and repeatable rework processes with efficient thermal throughput. With its outstanding technical features, the Summit 2200i delivers reliable and repeatable processes that increase system up-time, machine utilization, and ROI. It is the top-of-the-line automatic rework system that can handle boards up to 22" x 30," making it an ideal solution for high-volume electronic manufacturing operations.
In addition to its heating capabilities, the Summit 2200i features motorized X, Y, Z, and theta axis, and Component Auto Align software that allows for fully automated rework, including components greater than 100mm. Its independent non-contact site scavenging system safely removes residual solder, eliminating potential damage to pads and solder masks. The Summit 2200i's proprietary software provides product traceability, profile analysis, and profile sharing between VJE systems. The Summit 2200i's user-friendly interface makes operating this rework system simple and easy. It offers a 1-2-3 GO graphical user interface that allows for the removal, scavenging, replacement, and reflow of multiple components in a single rework cycle without any operator intervention.
