VT-X850-V1

The VT-X850-V1 from Omron Corporation is an X-ray Inspection System that uses a 3D-slice imaging technique using parallel CT. It has a micro-focus closed tube X-ray source and a flat panel detector with an imaging resolution of 15, 20, 25 and 30 μm (selectable by inspection target). The high-powered tube provides X-rays with enough intensity to penetrate samples with extremely dense shielding or enclosures. It has a re-designed mechanical system that leverages Omron's servo motors and drivers to tackle complex motion with ease, producing sharp 3D CT images. This X-ray inspection system can handle PCB boards of sizes ranging from 150 x 100 mm to 610 x 400 mm and a PCB thickness of 1 to 5 mm. It can inspect power devices and detect voids, bridges, through-hole solder filling, foreign matter/solder scraps, presence/absence of leads, etc. This equipment requires an AC supply of 200 to 240 V and consumes 3.3kW of power. It has a footprint of 2307 x 1820 x 4165 mm.
