Kurtz Ersa Asia (KEA) has announced the opening of its new application and demo center in Bangkok. The new showroom, officially opened in Thailand´s capital on November 22, marks another milestone in the company´s expansion of its presence in Southeast Asia, where Thailand is one of KEA´s largest growth markets alongside Vietnam. Above all, KEA now offers its customers in the region a room fully equipped with innovative Ersa soldering systems, which, with its 120 m², is ideally suited for training courses, evaluations, and presentations on electronics production.

“At Kurtz Ersa, our customers are always at the center of everything we do. With this modern ‘Home of Soldering Technology’ in Thailand, we offer our partners a comprehensive solution to experience our advanced soldering machines and technologies in a unique environment,” said Bernd Schenker, President Kurtz Ersa Asia. The Demo Center was realized in close cooperation with long-term partners Long Shine and Long Shine Thailand, who built a modern office and warehouse complex with an integrated Ersa showroom. With the application center, Kurtz Ersa Asia will deepen its technical and strategic cooperation with companies based in Thailand. The KEA Demo Centers are an important part of the pre-and after-sales service – customers from Southeast Asia can reach one of the available application centers in a maximum of four hours. The outstanding location close to Bangkok Airport (BKK) ensures excellent connections to the region.

During the opening ceremony, Bernd Schenker presented a symbolic picture of a handshake as a sign of trust and partnership with Long Shine and commitment to the Thai market. Ulrich Dosch, Director of Sales and Marketing KEA, handed over “The Optimist” to the business partners – a figure that symbolizes positivity and optimism and embodies the values of Kurtz Ersa worldwide. A traditional Thai puppet theater provided a special cultural touch, adding a festive touch to the event. “The opening of the Bangkok Demo Center is part of our ‘Global Footprint’ strategy. We are optimistic about the growth opportunities in Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia. We look forward to continuing to work together and to continuing our excellent partnership. A big thank you to our guests and especially to Long Shine and Long Shine Thailand for the many years of trustful cooperation,” concluded Bernd Schenker.
