VERSAPRINT 2 ULTRA³

The VERSAPRINT 2 ULTRA³ from Kurtz Ersa is a Stencil Printer with fully integrated 3D SPI. It has a printing size of 680 x 500 mm and two independent squeegee heads with continuous squeegee force control, squeegee depth stop and pendulum limitation. This printer has a print speed of up to 200 mm/s and has a print accuracy of ± 25 μm @ 6 Sigma (CPR > 2). The integrated 3D-SPI enables this printer to inspect complex PCBs directly after the printing process and can detect errors before they appear. During the 3D inspection, it evaluates the volume, area, height, shorts and offset of the solder paste print. If the system determines deviations in the solder paste printing to the specifications for the above-mentioned properties, a 2D image of the area affected is recorded for better representation and analysis through the operator.

The VERSAPRINT 2 ULTRA³ includes a 3D LIST camera with a field-of-view of 34.8 x 0.017 mm, an inspection speed of 130 mm/s and a resolution of 17 μm/pixel. It retains the stencil inspection as a feature of 2D inspection which triggers automatic stencil cleaning if solder paste soiling on the underside or blockage of a stencil opening should have exceeded the set limit. This printer is available in an enclosure that measures 1225 x 1855 x 1617 mm and requires an AC supply.
