The ISO-Spector M2 from MEK Americas is an Automated Optical Inspection Machine. It is designed for inspecting PCBs measuring up to 510 x 460 mm, while the average component size and height can be 0402 metric and 25 mm respectively. This machine features a 25-megapixel camera with a field-of-view (FOV) of 69 x 69 mm. Powered by a multi-angle, multi-light, high-intensity LED and industrial-grade Windows PC operating system, this equipment can analyse defects like skew, component missing, and lifted leads. An easy movement of the camera is maintained by providing top and bottom clearance of around ±55 mm and ±50 mm respectively.

The ISO-Spector M2 measures all dimensions to detect solder and component defects pre- and post-reflow soldering. Developed with cutting-edge AOI technology, it features a self-learning algorithm for solder joint inspection, ensuring accuracy and ease of programming. With AI continuously monitoring production, Mek's AOI system adjusts tolerance values, reducing programming time. It is available in an enclosure that measures 1020 x 1500 x 1500 mm and requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V.
