MVP Aurora

The MVP Aurora from Machine Vision Products, Inc. is an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Equipment. It has a 2.5 to 20 μm optics camera with a 2D FOV of up to 60 mm and a 3D accuracy of up to ± 20 μm. This system has a computer with a Dual Xeon Processor that supports multi-threading and a 64 GB SSD hard drive. It uses Linux Linux-based multi-threading CentOS OS and supports Full network integration (TCP/IP, NFS Protocol). Packages in JEDEC Trays are loaded as a stack in the inspection area and empty trays are loaded for defective parts. This system supports 20 thick or 30 thin JEDEC trays (standards 95-1 & IEC 60286-5) and interchangeable vacuum nozzles for large & small packages. 

The MVP Aurora performs top and bottom side inspection, automated tray loading, automated part sorting, part marking & surface inspection, pin/ball position, height, and coplanarity measurements. It requires an AC supply of 208-240 V and consumes 10 A of current. This system has a footprint of 1433 x 1193 x 1684 mm and is ideal for inspection and metrology applications for packaged ICs, BGAs, and leaded devices.
