VT-S1080

The VT-S1080 from Omron Corporation is an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Equipment. It is designed for inspecting Printed Circuit Boards of sizes ranging from 50 x 50 mm to 510 x 680 mm (thickness from 0.4 to 4 mm) and weighing up to 4 kg. It features a 12-megapixel camera with a field of view (FoV) of 50 x 37.5 mm. This equipment produces images with resolutions of 12.5 µm and has an inspection rate of 0.6 sec per FoV. Equipped with Omron's MDMC (Multi Direction/Multi Color) illumination and new MPS (Micro Phase Shift) moiré technique, the system achieves highly robust and reliable inspection performance.  

The VT-S10 AOI platform combines AI-assisted programming with Omron technology to analyze solder joints. It utilizes quantitative measurements that adhere to IPC standards to help in efficient manufacturing. With Omron's offline software suite, users can monitor inspection results, adjust, and keep production lines running. This system can analyse defects like component missing, polarity, flipped, offset, solder balls, and bridging. An easy movement of the camera is maintained by a top and bottom clearance of 54 mm and 50 mm, respectively. It is available in an enclosure that measures 1180 x 1450 x 1500 mm and requires an AC supply.
