984-LVUF

The 984-LVUF from Dymax is an Ultra-Fluorescing conformal coating that is UV/visible light-curable. It is a single-component, solvent-free material that cures rapidly upon exposure to light. This coating cures instantly and fluoresces upon exposure to black light. It has a modulus of elasticity of 724 MPa and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 84°C. This material can withstand a dielectric voltage of up to 1800 V and a dielectric constant of 3.4.

The 984-LVUF has a D85 durometer hardness and a tensile strength of 55.8 MPa and an elongation at break of 4%, ensuring reliable performance under stress. It can also be cured using heat for shadow areas on densely populated boards. This material complies with various industry standards such as MIL-I-46058C, IPC-CC-830-B, UL 746C, and UL 94 V0 for flammability. It is well-suited for applications that require resistance to chemicals, moisture, and thermal cycling.
