BA388E2-V

The BA388E2-V from Autotronik SMT-GmbH is an automated pick-and-place machine equipped with two heads. Each head can accommodate a maximum of 256, 8 mm feeders, and the machine also features 6 waffle trays. It has the capability to traverse a maximum area of either 1050 x 450 mm or 1340 x 400 mm. The machine can handle components ranging from a minimum size of 0.4 x 0.2 mm to a maximum size of 150 x 100 mm. It has a placement rate of approximately 6400 components per hour (cph) with an accuracy of +/- 0.03 mm. The overall dimensions of the BA388E2-V are 2050 x 1670 x 1480 mm. 

The BA388E2-V is developed for fast and accurate assembly of small to medium batch sizes. The model is equipped with a digital optical centering system that enables image processing directly on the placement head "Vision on the Fly". It ensures optimal measurement of SMD components such as 01005, SOIC, PLCC, BGA, uBGA, CSP & QFP as well as odd-shaped components up to a grid of 0.3 mm.
