JM-20XL

The JM-20XL from Juki Americas is an Automated Pick and Place Machine with up to 80 pieces of feeders. It can accommodate PCBs of size 800 x 560 mm. This machine comes with heads capable of 360° rotations that use vision detection to handle components as small as 603, and as large as 50mm, while the component height can be 50 mm at maximum. It has a placement accuracy of +/-0.05 mm, for ensuring precise component placement. The overall dimensions of the equipment are 1500 x 1892 x 1550 mm, and the weight ranges from 1,760 kg to 1,985 kg.

The JM-20 is designed for larger and heavier components as well as bigger boards, accommodating both surface mount and through-hole components. It includes low noise ball screw drive with linear encoders, as well as lead orientation detection facilitated by a laser sensor. This machine incorporates Bowl Feeders (MBF) available in Fixed (MBF), Trolley (MBF-C), or large component (MBF-L) configurations, offering flexibility in component handling. With six nozzles per gantry and an IC head on the 3020V model, the JM-20 can place six components and centre them on the fly, streamlining production processes. Furthermore, the machine ensures precise through-hole placement and lead tip centering.
