The CT+1040 from ITW EAE is a Reflow Soldering Machine for heavy solder paste users. It has 4 cooling zones and 10 heating zones with a zone length of 3550 mm (about 11.65 ft) and both zones provide ample space for cooling and heating the solder material. This soldering machine uses Fast Cool Down (FCD) method that effectively dissipates heat and ensures efficient temperature reduction. It allows the conveyor speed to be adjusted from 25 to 200 cm/min, providing flexibility to match the production requirements and can accommodate PCBs up to a maximum dimension of 300 x 300 mm. This machine offers outstanding performance for a wide range of electronic soldering applications.
The CT+1040 includes a Catalytic Thermal Oxidizer which offers efficient volatile compound removal during reflow, minimizing maintenance and ensuring a clean process environment. It has a Closed Loop PPM Control System which maintains precise PPM setpoints (200-2000PPM) in a nitrogen environment with CATHOX, stabilizing PCB quality in Production Mode and reducing nitrogen consumption in Idle Mode. It has a dual lane setup which doubles the throughput with independent conveyor speed control, ideal for high-mix low-volume manufacturing. Additionally, The True N2/Air Switch seamlessly toggles between nitrogen and air flow systems which extracts flux-contaminated air for a cleaner reflow oven environment.
The CT+1040 can be controlled using a touch screen + PLC and the control system is designed for user convenience and can be used on PCs with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC for higher stability. It has an optimum temperature range of 350°C, which is complemented by its temperature accuracy of ±1°C. This solder machine has a compact and sturdy design and is available in an enclosure that measures 6280 x 1600 x 1542 mm, making it a space-efficient solution for different manufacturing environments.
