Cosmotronic was founded in the late 1960s as a provider of circuit boards to the military and defense marketplace. Some of the first products produced by Cosmotronic consisted of simple wire wrapped boards, followed by two sided circuits, multilayer products and in the early 1980s transitioning into flexible circuits. In the late 1980s Cosmotronic produced their first rigid-flex circuits, as well as some aluminum core boards. Development of manufacturing processes and technologies in the military and aerospace marketplace has continued unabated since Cosmotronic’s inception.
