CE3S Adds PACE's Rework and Repair System to Product Offering

Cumberland Electronics Strategic Supply Solutions (CE3S), strategic sourcing, professional solutions and distribution partner, announced that it is offering the PACE MBT450 from PACE Worldwide for rework, repair, and operator training applications. The MBT450 combines multiple functions into one system designed for rework operations while maintaining a simplified interface for daily use.

The system includes three independent power channels and supports a fourth channel through the TF-Ultra Hot Air/Convective Handpiece as part of its rework capabilities. This configuration allows multiple handpieces to operate simultaneously without changing setups, supporting high-mix production environments and reduced transition time between jobs.

The MBT450 also includes a 4.5-inch color touchscreen with a customizable interface that allows operators to configure workflows based on production requirements.

The system includes built-in video capability with audio, allowing training materials to be loaded directly through USB. CE3S stated that this feature supports process standardization, operator onboarding, and consistency across production shifts. The MBT450 is intended for high-reliability applications including aerospace, defense, and industrial electronics, where precision and repeatability are required.

For CE3S, the system aligns with its broader operational support approach, which includes vendor-managed inventory programs, account management, and production support services for manufacturing environments.
