Würth Elektronik Sweden AB, a leading manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, has relocated to a larger facility, enabling the company to strengthen its presence in Scandinavia. This expansion comes as a result of the remarkable business development experienced by Würth Elektronik and allows for the expansion of its sales office, back office, and customer services.
Robert Vikman, the newly appointed General Manager of Würth Elektronik Sweden AB, has been with the company for eight years and considers this move as his second during his tenure. With a background in the electronics industry dating back to his time at ELFA, Vikman expresses his enthusiasm for the successful growth of the branch and highlights the shared corporate culture between ELFA and Würth Elektronik. He particularly appreciates Würth Elektronik's concept of offering free components for prototypes, simulations, footprints, and 3D files on their website, along with a remarkable 98% availability rate for over 50,000 components.
"This new space allows us to further expand our technical field and office services," says Vikman. Currently employing nearly 30 professionals in Sweden, the team has recently welcomed a digital sales manager dedicated to online customer calls from their new office studio, as well as a technician for online chat support via the website. Additionally, Würth Elektronik is expanding its range of wireless modules in Bluetooth, LTE, Wi-Fi, and sensors, leading to increased demand for local support. Vikman is excited about the future prospects of the company and its continued growth.
Vikman expresses his gratitude to the outgoing CEO Martin Danielsson, who spent 18 years with the Würth family and is now moving on to new responsibilities outside the company.
