DKRed’s PCB Fabrication Service for 2-layer and 4-layer Boards

DigiKey, a full-service partner offering design tools, business solutions, and the world’s largest selection of in-stock electronic components, has rolled out DKRed, a custom PCB fabrication service for 2-layer and 4-layer boards. This custom PCB service by Digi-Key can be used to develop prototypes (minimum 4 boards) or high-volume production orders with a minimum physical size of 0.5”x 0.5”.

Using DKRed services, the boards are built in 5 to 10 days on average, with a 5-day expedited option available at a charge. This offering aims to empower designers by slashing lead times and enhancing flexibility in the development process. It offers free shipping to addresses within the United States and for shipping to Canada, the rates are in USD.

Physical Specifications on the Boards

DKRed provides PCBs with a minimum board size of 0.5 x 0.5 inches (1.27 by 1.27 centimeters) and a maximum board size of 10 x 10 inches (25.4 by 25.4 centimeters). The board thickness is set at 62 mil (1.6mm) and utilizes FR4 TG 170-180 as the substrate material. Additional information is available in the table below.
