SA-500

The SA-500 from Allpoint Electronics Ltda is an AOI Equipment that is designed for inspection of SMT components. It has a 5 MP camera with a telecentric lens and an adjustable resolution of 10 or 15 μm and an FOV of 24 x 20 mm (10 μm) and 36 x 30 mm (15 μm). The camera also has 4 ring-shaped LEDs (RGBW) and an optional coaxial light source for lighting. This equipment uses smart algorithms for image processing that can detect defects in sophisticated boards with fine-pitch components, delivering an inspection speed of 180-200 ms/FOV. It also has deep learning and self-training functions that employ Artificial Intelligence to extend the types of detectable defects and reduce the rate of judgment errors.

The SA-500 AOI equipment can accommodate PCB sizes ranging from 50 x 50 mm to 510 x 600 mm and PCB thicknesses up to 6 mm. It can perform reflow, after-reflow, and solder paste inspection and can inspect for odd-shaped components. This equipment has an automatic component repositioning feature that compensates for distortions caused by heat in the reflow furnace, keeping inspection results accurate. It requires an AC supply of 220 V and consumes 5 A of current. This equipment has a footprint of 985 x 1100 x 1550 mm.
