YSi-V

The YSi-V from Yamaha Motor is a 3D Hybrid Optical Inspection System that can inspect PCB boards of size 610 x 560 mm. It uses a 12 MP camera having high-rigidity frame equivalent to that of mounters, resulting in high repeatability. This inspection system is equipped with telecentric lens for capturing highly detailed external images of PCB components (size ranging from 0201 to 0402) with a resolution of 7 µm. It supports CI lighting that allows RGB display of solder fillets and uses field-of-view (FOV) methods to join one visual field with another and perform large component inspection. This machine also utilizes special 2D+3D and IR lighting functions to conduct high accuracy 3D inspections by recognizing the correct PCB height standards. It integrates a 4-way angle camera to restore the 3D shape in the case irradiation from 2-way moiré fringes. 

This YSi-V can minimize tact loss with the 4-angled camera and visually verify NG points without actually having to grip the PCB by hand. It gathers auto inspection data and visual inspection of crucial points to detect if any solder is present. This equipment includes N-point collation software to display mounter recognition and history information simultaneously on one screen, and mobile decision software to transmit defect data as a feedback.
