The NT-P5 from NECTEC is a high-performance Pick and Place Machine that delivers a placement speed of 42,000 CPH. It can handle PCB sizes ranging from 50 × 50 mm up to 510 × 410 mm with thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 9.0 mm on a monorail system. The equipment features advanced optical inspection, equipped with both flying and fixed MARK cameras with a 20 × 20 mm field of view and a 500 W area-array sensor. It has a capacity for up to 100 feeders (double side) and supports component sizes from 0201 chips to 40 × 40 × 13 mm for precise inspection and alignment.
The NT-P5’s single-arm mounting head combines a high-speed 10-nozzle placement head and a multifunctional 6-nozzle head, complemented by dual-drive linear motors on the Y-axis and a high-precision servo motor on the R-axis for full closed-loop control, which provides a placement accuracy of ±0.035 mm. It has a magnetic-levitation motion module, paired with high-precision linear motors on the Z-axis that works with AI-driven path optimization, real-time vacuum detection, and automatic material-center correction to maximize equipment utilization and production efficiency. This machine also uses a pneumatic lifting platform and upper–lower clamp PCB fixing method for additional reliability, ensuring stable operation during high-speed runs. It requires an AC supply of 380/420/480 V and consumes 5 kW of power. This equipment has a footprint of 1380 × 1880 × 1550 mm.
