Alba PCB Offers High-Conducibility PCBs for Superior Heat Dissipation and Electrical Performance712370

Alba PCB Group is a global leader in printed circuit board (PCB) design, development, and manufacturing, delivering end-to-end solutions for a wide spectrum of industries. From single- and double-faced boards to complex multilayer, back panel, flex, and rigid-flex configurations, the company provides high-reliability PCBs tailored to the stringent requirements of automotive and transportation systems, aerospace and military applications, advanced medical equipment, renewable energy projects, radio frequency (RF) systems, and both fixed and mobile network infrastructures built with SBU (Sequential Build-Up) technology. Whether supporting industrial automation or commercial lighting, Alba PCB Group consistently delivers advanced, high-conducibility boards that combine performance with durability.

High-Conducibility PCBs

The High conducibility PCBs are engineered for superior heat dissipation and electrical performance. These boards are fabricated using premium materials such as CEM3 and FR4 HTC (High Thermal Conductivity), sourced from industry-leading base material producers including Panasonic, Nanya, and Huazheng. Available in single-face, double-face, and multilayer formats (multilayer exclusively with FR4), these PCBs feature thermal conductivity ratings of 0.8, 1.0, and 1.2 W/m°K, enhanced with copper layers to optimize heat dissipation. Copper thickness options include 18 μm, 35 μm, and 70 μm for FR4-based designs, allowing engineers to balance conductivity with mechanical requirements.

Surface finishing options are equally diverse to meet different performance and reliability needs. Choices range from Organic Solderability Preservative (OSP) on copper and lead-free Hot Air Leveling (HAL) or Sn/Pb to high-end electrolytic and chemical gilding processes (ENIG, ENIPIG, ASIG), as well as immersion or electroless chemical silver and tin. This variety ensures robust solderability and long-term protection against oxidation in challenging operating environments.

Advanced Laminates

To address diverse thermal and mechanical demands, Alba PCB Group works with a range of laminates, including:

  • FR4 HTC for high thermal conductivity applications
  • IMS (aluminum base) and IMS (copper base) for superior heat management
  • CEM3 for cost-effective yet reliable solutions
  • HTC-specific materials designed for high dissipation

These material options allow precise matching of PCB characteristics to the thermal and structural requirements of each project.

Precision Solder Resist Technology

Alba PCB Group employs advanced solder resist technologies to guarantee exceptional insulation and durability. Available in LPI photographic inks, epoxy inks for silkscreen printing, and flexible inks for flex, rigid-flex, and semi-flex boards, these coatings are applied using silkscreen printing or spray methods. Photographic definition with collimated light or direct laser imaging ensures precise patterning, while the solder resist achieves a typical hardness of 6H for excellent mechanical stability.

High-Definition Silk Screen Printing

For legends and markings, Alba PCB Group offers both traditional silkscreen printing and high-resolution inkjet methods (up to 720×720 pixels, white only). Photographic and silkscreened techniques guarantee sharp, durable component labeling critical for assembly and maintenance.

Mechanical and Panel Finishing

The company provides a full range of mechanical finishing options, including:

  • Single PCBs
  • Panel-type PCBs with or without indicators
  • Electrical panels with pre-cut V-scoring
  • Mixed-technology panels combining milling and V-scoring

Controlled-height machining further ensures dimensional accuracy, supporting operations such as drilling, milling, bevelling, V-shape flaring, and boring.

Optional Processing Capabilities

Alba PCB Group enhances design flexibility with specialized processing services such as resistive and conductive graphite printing (for sliding or membrane contacts), peel-off solder resist masks, HTC insulating resin printing (epoxy or silicone), and Kapton wrapping tape. Additional capabilities include hole occlusion with solder resist or epoxy resins, ensuring optimal insulation and durability even in the most complex PCB architectures.

By combining world-class materials, precise manufacturing methods, and a commitment to industry-specific requirements, Alba PCB Group delivers PCB solutions that meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. From automotive power systems to aerospace electronics and high-frequency communication networks, its advanced technologies enable customers to design and deploy products with confidence in the most demanding environments.
