Delvitech, a Swiss deep-technology startup specializing in automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, announced plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Bengaluru by 2026 to support business expansion and increase global production capacity.

According to the company, the new plant will enable Delvitech to scale production in India to more than 200 AOI machines per month by 2030, serving both domestic and export markets. Delvitech currently provides AI-driven AOI solutions to electronics manufacturers and counts India’s Kaynes Technology and Velankani Electronics, as well as Switzerland’s Adolfo Juri Elettronica Industriale SA, among its customers.

“India is fast emerging as a global hub for high-tech manufacturing. Our new facility reflects Delvitech’s commitment to empowering manufacturers in India and beyond with AI-driven solutions that set new standards in quality, efficiency, and innovation,” said Delvitech Founder and CEO Roberto Gatti.

The announcement follows Delvitech’s recent $40 million (approximately Rs 354 crore) Series B funding round led by EGS Beteiligungen (EGSB), the investment company of the Ernst Gohner Foundation, along with CREADD Ventures and several European private investors. Headquartered in Switzerland, Delvitech operates subsidiaries in India, the United States, Germany, and Italy.
