Meiko Electronics has announced a strategic joint venture with Allied Circuits to establish a high-layer count (HLC) printed circuit board plant in Vietnam. This marks a significant step in Meiko’s expansion strategy.
The collaboration aims to leverage Allied Circuits' expertise and Meiko’s global footprint to meet rising demand for advanced PCBs, particularly in high-performance computing applications. While the near-term financial impact of the venture is expected to be limited, the companies anticipate long-term benefits as AI infrastructure and data center investments continue to surge.
By establishing operations in Vietnam, Meiko also strengthens its supply chain flexibility and proximity to key customers, positioning itself to capture a larger share of the growing high-layer PCB market.
