The Merlin PCB Group has invested in two CIMS Galaxy 25µ AOI machines, with one installed at Merlin Flex in Hartlepool and the other at Merlin Circuit Technology in Hawarden. Both machines represent the latest technology from CIMS and substantially increase the in-line inspection capability at both facilities.
From thin flexible materials to thick copper sculptured flex to high-speed rigid laminates with HDI tracking, these new state-of-the-art machines deliver the inspection performance required to meet the highest specifications of Merlin’s Defence and Aerospace customers, while also enabling additional in-process inspection such as laser drill verification.
Merlin PCB Group also thanked the team at Adeon for their support and technical expertise during the installation of both machines at each facility.
