GL-Star

The GL-Star from GKG ASIA PTE LTD is an Automatic Solder Paste Printer for SMT applications. It has machine vision technology for automatic identification, employing a high-precision servo drive dynamic system to ensure fast and accurate alignment. This solder paste printer can handle PCB sizes of 50 x 50 mm to 510 x 510 mm and PCB thicknesses from 0.4 to 6 mm. It has an adjustable stencil frame size of 470 mm x 370 mm to 737 mm x 737 mm and a print speed of 10-200 mm/s. This solder paste printer uses a digital CCD camera with a field-of-view of 10 x 8 mm for 2D inspection of missing and insufficient defects.

The GL-Star has features such as auto stencil positioning, automatic top clamp and motorized side clamp, and stencil lock. These capabilities help ensure superior printing quality with minimal human intervention. Its internal structure is pre-assembled in a way that it can be used as a standalone unit or two units can be joined in a back-to-back configuration for a dual-lane SMT line. This printer has a stencil lock vacuum suction function that firmly holds the stencil on both sides of the conveyor during the printing cycle, eliminating stencil vibration by having firm contact with the PCB. It also has a PCB Clamper which is a combination of retractable top clamp and motor-controlled side clamp to securely clamp substrates and print to the highest quality.

The GL-Star requires an AC supply of 220 V and consumes less than 3 kW of power. It has a footprint of 1240 x 1560 x 1490 mm and is ideal for Industry 4.0 intelligence production providing seamless connection with MES systems.
