G Series

The G Series from Bowman XRF are Coating Measurement Systems designed to provide bottom-up inspection and high-precision video imaging of samples in a limited benchtop space. They consist of a micro-focus X-ray tube, a fixed collimator, a fixed focus camera, a silicon solid-state detector. These systems combine motorized Z-axis and laser-based auto focus capabilities with an optional manual XY stage that covers a sample area of 1.5 x 1.5 inches, allowing for easy positioning of small and large parts. The X-ray tube delivers an output power of 50 W. They support 4096 CH digital multi-channel analysis with flexible shaping times and have a video magnification factor of 7x (digital zoom) and 30 x (standard). 

The G Series inspection systems can analyze up to 5 layers (4 layers + base) and measure 10 elements in each layer. They can also conduct composition analysis of up to 30 elements simultaneously. The measurement accuracy can be further improved by incorporating multiple collimators along with a variable focus camera. These measurement systems require an AC supply of 100 to 240 V and consume 150 W of power. They are available in enclosures that measure 330 x 356 x 457 mm.
