The Meteorwave® ELL 101 from AGC Inc. is a PCB Laminate and Prepreg Material that has a Meteorwave ELL resin system on NE fabric. It has a dielectric constant of 3.05 and a dissipation factor of 0.0012 at 10 GHz. This material has a glass transition temperature of 190°C which makes it compatible with applications in lead-free assembly processes. It has a coefficient of thermal expansion of 12-12 ppm/°C in X/Y directions and 65/156 ppm/°C in Z direction, thus ensuring stability against large temperature variations.

The Meteorwave ELL 101 is available with 1st Generation and 2nd Generation low Dk fiberglass delivering SI performance suitable for 112 Gb designs. It has a peel strength of 0.49 N/mm and a time to delamination of more than 60 minutes at 300°C delivering exceptional thermal reliability. All constructions of this material utilize super spread weaves and fiberglass finishes optimized for Conductive Anodic Filament (CAF) performance. It is compliant with ROHS, REACH, California Prop 65 & the “Conflict Minerals Act” and meets UL 94-V0 & IPC-4103/540 specifications. This laminate & prepreg material is ideal for high frequency in aerospace & defense, automotive radar, satellite communication, next-generation internet infrastructure, storage routing systems, and AI applications.
