Electroninks, a provider of metal complex inks for additive manufacturing and advanced semiconductor packaging, announced a strategic partnership with SAKATA INX Corporation, a printing inks manufacturer, and SIIX Corporation, an electronic component trading company and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, to promote and expand Electroninks' conductive ink technology in the Japanese market.
Under the partnership, Electroninks has appointed SAKATA INX to support distribution of its commercial conductive ink products in Japan. SIIX will support market development through its sales network and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) business. The companies will collaborate to promote the adoption of Electroninks' metal complex conductive inks across semiconductor packaging, automotive, consumer electronics, and related industries.
“Electroninks’ mission has always been to enable the next generation of electronic device manufacturing through materials innovation,” said Melbs LeMieux, President and Co-founder of Electroninks. “Partnering with SAKATA INX and SIIX gives us a direct path to deliver our conductive ink technology to Japan’s most innovative electronics and semiconductor companies, supporting more sustainable, and ultimate flexibility in product design and manufacturing.”
Collaborative framework
The companies will also pursue co-development and commercialization opportunities for semiconductor, electronic components, and printed electronics applications in Japan. The companies will continue to align sales, marketing, and product development activities while responding to market requirements for conductive ink materials.
