FR408HR

The FR408HR from Isola Group is a Lead-Free, Mid-Loss PCB Laminate and Prepreg Material that has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 190°C. It is based on an FR-4 resin system and uses electrical-grade E-glass reinforcement to deliver excellent thermal reliability and electrical performance. This laminate material has a thermal conductivity of 0.4 W/m·K and a decomposition temperature (Td) of 360°C. It has a permittivity (Dk) of 3.68 and a loss tangent (Df) of 0.0092. This material is lead-free compatible, CAF resistant, and can be processed utilizing standard PCB equipment and processing steps. It is compatible with the FR-4 process and can withstand multiple lamination cycles and 6x lead-free reflows. This system is also laser fluorescing and UV blocking for maximum compatibility with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, optical positioning systems, and photo-imagable solder mask imaging.
