Limtronik and VIDEOTON Strengthen Collaboration to Expand U.S. Manufacturing Operations712370

Limtronik, an electronics manufacturer, which joined the Hungary-based VIDEOTON Group in 2025, is intensifying operational collaboration within the group’s international production network. The focus is on combining expertise across locations and transferring quality and process standards to additional sites, including Limtronik’s U.S. facility in Denver, where teams from Limburg and Hungary are supporting the expansion of SMT production.

Since 2025, Limtronik has been part of the VIDEOTON Group, which operates more than 11 sites across Europe and overseas. In addition to Limtronik’s electronics manufacturing (PCBA) and box-build assembly, the group’s capabilities include mechanical machining, surface plating, sheet metal processing, plastic injection molding, and the design and manufacturing of special-purpose machines and production lines, along with automation and testing systems.

“Our collaboration within the VIDEOTON Group has long proven itself in day-to-day operations,” says Gerd Ohl, Managing Director of Limtronik GmbH. “Through cross-site training and targeted knowledge transfer, we ensure that our quality and process standards are implemented consistently worldwide. Especially as we expand our activities in the U.S., we benefit from the combined expertise within the group.”

At its Denver site, Limtronik expanded its SMT PCB manufacturing capabilities last year. Collaboration with the VIDEOTON Group is being used to optimize production processes, transfer know-how, and execute international projects. Customers in North America use process and manufacturing practices from Limburg and other VIDEOTON Group sites.

The collaboration also creates additional opportunities within the group. VIDEOTON expands its presence in Germany and the United States, while Limtronik gains access to industrial expertise and capacities within the group. This supports development and manufacturing services and flexibility in international projects, with resources used across locations to support project execution.

As part of the VIDEOTON Group, Limtronik is integrated into an international production network covering development, mechanical and electronic manufacturing, and the production of systems. The combination of Limtronik’s engineering and smart factory expertise with VIDEOTON’s industrial capabilities supports scalability and supply chain operations.

“In light of complex supply chains and geopolitical uncertainties, international production structures are becoming increasingly important,” says Dávid Schnaider, Business Development Director at VIDEOTON Group. “Collaboration within the group enables us to execute projects across stable, cross-site structures in Europe and overseas efficiently and with high quality.”
