Assembly Capabilities

Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is one of Vexos’ core services. From multi-layered to flexible printed circuit boards, Vexos serves as a one-stop solution for PCB assembly, testing, and commodity sourcing of boards and related materials.

Vexos’ global manufacturing facilities are fully equipped with state-of-the-art testing and verification equipment. Finished PCB assemblies are checked for proper component placement and functionality using a variety of methods, including Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), In-Circuit Testing (ICT), and X-ray inspection.

To ensure the highest quality standards, Vexos provides both functional and in-circuit testing services. Test technicians and quality engineers are highly trained and certified to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards. The company's manufacturing facilities and PCB assembly processes are regularly audited and certified to meet these requirements.

After all necessary components are mounted and the assembly has passed through the SMT line, it is verified for compliance with customer CAD data using an inline AOI system. Assemblies containing bottom-terminated components undergo X-ray inspection to confirm accurate part placement. Depending on customer requirements, each assembly may then be tested further through in-circuit and/or functional testing performed by a dedicated team of test technicians.

The functional test setups can range from simple electronic measuring tools to advanced, rack-mounted, integrated testing systems. While many customers provide their own test equipment, Vexos engineering teams are fully capable of designing and building customized functional testing solutions.
